Dear friends of Saint Dumitru Monastery,

Feast Day. We have the joy of inviting you to our monastery’s fall feast day, in honor of Saint Dimitrie the New, which we will celebrate on Saturday, October 26. His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae will be present in our midst, together with a large number of priests. Vespers will be served on Friday evening beginning at 7pm, and the Divine Liturgy for the feast will begin on Saturday at 10am.

7pm – Hierarchical Great Vespers for Feast Day

Saturday, October 26 – Monastery Feast Day
8:30am – Matins
10am – Hierarchical Divine Liturgy
1pm – Festal Agape Meal
8pm – Great Vespers

Sunday, October 27 – Commemoration of St. Dimitrie the New
8:30am – Matins
10am – Divine Liturgy

40 Daily Liturgies. With God’s help and with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae, we will serve the annual series of 40 consecutive Divine Liturgies, beginning on October 26 (our fall feast day) and ending on December 4. We invite you all to join us in prayer during this period. The series of daily Liturgies is especially beneficial for the souls of the departed, for the sick, and, in general, for all those who suffer from various problems or need God’s special help.
