Saint Jacob House
With God’s help, we signed the contract for purchasing the house that neighbors the monastery. Some good Christians lent us the entire sum for the transaction, so that we could avoid mortgage from the bank. We kindly ask your help in paying back this loan.
Feast Day Invitation
We have the joy of inviting you to our monastery’s fall feast day on Saturday, October 24, in honor of our heavenly patron, Saint Dimitrie the New. His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae will be present in our midst. The Divine Liturgy for the feast will begin on Saturday at 10am.
With God’s help and with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae, we will serve the annual series of 40 consecutive Divine Liturgies, beginning on Saturday, October 24 (our fall feast day) and ending on Wednesday, December 2. We invite everyone to join us in prayer. The daily Liturgies are especially beneficial for the souls of the departed, for the sick, and for all those who suffer from various problems or need God’s help.
Romanian Welcome Gate
The gate is scheduled to open automatically between 6:00am and 8:00pm, every day. The automated gate operators are activated by an entry loop sensor in the asphalt.
Please drive in all the way and stop between the gate posts, underneath the roof. Wait for the gate to open.
