With God’s help, we signed the contract for purchasing the house that neighbors the monastery. Some good Christians lent us the entire sum for the transaction, so that we could avoid mortgage from the bank. We kindly ask your help in paying back this loan.
Kursk Root Icon will visit on Fall Feast Day
After 5 years from her first visit, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae and His Eminence Metropolitan Nikolai (ROCOR), the miraculous Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God will again be in our midst on Saturday, October 24, for our monastery’s fall feast day.
As on every feast day, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae will be present in our midst. The Divine Liturgy for the feast – in honor of our heavenly patron, Saint Dimitrie the New – will begin on Saturday at 10am.
With God’s help and with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae, we will serve the annual series of 40 consecutive Divine Liturgies, beginning on Saturday, October 24 (our fall feast day) and ending on Wednesday, December 2.
Romanian Welcome Gate
The gate is scheduled to open automatically between 6:00am and 8:00pm, every day. The automated gate operators are activated by an entry loop sensor in the asphalt.
Please drive in all the way and stop between the gate posts, underneath the roof. Wait for the gate to open.
