Place not your hope\nIn the fruit of imagination, \nRather always wield in hand\nThe \u201cweapon of salvation\u201d! <\/p>\n\n

Be united in one mind\nThrough Christian sentiments\nAt the bosom of \u201cYour Mother\u201d \nWho begot you spiritually! <\/p>\n\n

Seeking protection underneath\nThe shield of faith, \nIn times of war\nYou\u2019ll be undefeated. <\/p>\n\n

If any nation on earth\nOr even \u201cthe one below\u201d \nWould rise against you, \nYou will defeat them. <\/p>\n\n

Bend your necks humbly, \nSubmitting to the Lord, \nAnd He will lift up your horn\nTo the \u201cdesired pasture\u201d. <\/p>\n\n

Slumber no longer\nIn the sleep of indifference\nFor the \u201cdawn of salvation\u201d \nIllumines the Carpathians. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In a spirit of pure love
Living together as brothers,
May we taint neither our dignity

Awaking our sensibility
From within a Christian soul
Let\u2019s adorn the Romanian flag
With the Sign of the Cross!<\/p>

On our soul\u2019s throne
May there always reign
The most venerable icon
Of the King of Glory!<\/p>

If we protect our unity
And our \u201cAncestral Creed\u201d,
We\u2019ll be full of glory
Both on earth and in heaven!<\/p>

Then the ancestral virtues
Praised for centuries
Will start growing again
In our precious land.<\/p>

From the pit of destruction
Dug by the tyrant,
\u201cTrajan\u2019s sapling\u201d
Will rise again in glory.<\/p>

So, today, as never before,
May we prove to be \u201cChristians\u201d
Preserving our faith
