Behold Him on the Cross now,
<\/span>\u201cThe wicked\u201d closed Him in
<\/span>Sold by the greedy Judas
<\/span>Abandoned by \u201cHis kin!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A wound is His whole body
<\/span>His head a thorny crown,
<\/span>Behold Him, Christian nations,
<\/span>Your name is of renown.<\/p>\n

\u201cSon of the Virgin\u201d He is
<\/span>High Glory King adored,
<\/span>Our guaranteed Redeemer
<\/span>Our incarnate Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n

With punctured hands He placed us
<\/span>Up high in paradise
<\/span>He saved us from the curse
<\/span>His Blood as sacrifice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Behold His doleful image,
<\/span>Bathe Him in tears thus
<\/span>And then you\u2019ll understand it
<\/span>Because \u201cGod is with us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The earth sprinkled with sweat
<\/span>Blood of the \u201cLamb so Holy\u201d
<\/span>The heaven bows to Him,
<\/span>He clothed Himself in glory.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cross, the sign of pain
<\/span>His passion sanctified,
<\/span>Became the \u201cSign of Power\u201d
<\/span>\u201cScepter of the Most High.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
