May God reward their sacrifice.<\/p><p><strong>Hierarchical Service<\/strong>. On the third Sunday of Lent, April 4, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae will be present at our monastery. His Eminence will arrive on Saturday evening and will officiate the Vespers together with Litya.<\/p><p><strong>Great Lent Spiritual Evenings<\/strong>. At the initiative of Metropolitan Nicolae, the Romanian Orthodox Metropolia of the Americas will organize a series of four spiritual evenings during the Great Lent. The series will debut on March 25 with the abbot of holy Putna Monastery, Archimandrite Melchizedek Velnic, with the theme, <strong>\u201cThe Mother of God, Champion Leader of Christians in Times of Trials.\u201d<\/strong> The other three spiritual evenings will be as follows: April 1: Archimandrite Ioan, abbot of Pop\u0103u\u021bi Monastery, Boto\u0219ani, with the theme, <strong>\u201cOur Venerable Mother Mary of Egypt, a Model of Repentance for Endurance\u201d<\/strong>; April 8: Archimandrite Melchizedek, abbot of Lup\u0219a Monastery, with the theme, <strong>\u201cWork and Knowledge, Steps to Heaven on the Ladder of St. John\u201d<\/strong>; April 15: Protosyngellos Dr. Hrisostom Ciuciu, Putna Monastery, with the theme, <strong>\u201cThe Canon of St. Andrew of Crete, Spiritual Meditation and Liturgical Hymn.\u201d<\/strong> The meetings will take place on the Metropolia\u2019s ZOOM portal.<\/p><p><strong>Exploring Your Faith!<\/strong> The regular activities of the <em>Exploring Your Faith!<\/em> program of the Metropolia, including our spiritual evenings, are suspended during the Great Lent and will resume after Holy Pascha<strong>.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Icons.<\/strong> With the blessing of His Eminence Nicolae, printed icons are mounted to wood in our monastery.<\/p><p><strong>Pure beeswax candles.<\/strong> Pure beeswax candles are also made in our monastery to adorn the prayer of every Christian.
